Raptor Approval
Required to volunteer for field trips, in classrooms, and any on-campus activity during the school day. Requerido para ser voluntario en excursiones, salones de clase y cualquier actividad escolar durante el día.
How to get approved
Follow these five steps in order. The earlier you start, the sooner you'll be cleared to help.
- Get your free TB clearance done first. Bring the form below to the clinic and they'll fill it out - you'll upload it to your application later.

- Complete the Mandated Reporter online training (about 1 hour) and save the digital certificate - you'll upload it to your application later. Starting in the 2026/2027 school year, every volunteer must complete this course.

- Start your application at the link here and select the appropriate level - Level 2 for parent volunteers in classrooms and on field trips.
- Upload your TB clearance and your Mandated Reporter certificate to the application.
- Wait 7-10 business days for approval, depending on the number of applications in queue.

- Complete la capacitación de Reportero Obligatorio (Mandated Reporter) en línea (aproximadamente 1 hora) y guarde el certificado digital; lo subirá a su solicitud más adelante. A partir del año escolar 2026/2027, todo voluntario debe completar este curso.

WHERE TO VOLUNTEER
For in-class volunteering and field trips, reach out to your student's teacher directly - sign-ups are usually available there. The PTA coordinates volunteering for PTA-sponsored events, running those events, and certain school activities outside the classroom.
